2025 EFT SHERPA HUB PRE-LAUNCH TOURNAMENT
November 1st, 2025
Time: 1PM EST

School is out
and the fight is on.

The Sherpas, Emissaries, Moderators, Helpfuls, other staff members in the Tarkov Sherpa Hub and Official EFT Discord are shutting the school down for 1 day and leaving behind their roles as mentors, community voices, and community support to team-up and/or throw down in the Arena, where only glory awaits.
The tournament is live on Twitch from start to finish—big stakes, loud comms, and momentum that flips without warning. Upsets punch holes in the bracket, tempers flare, and the pace never lets up. Trash talk is encouraged, so tune in, pick a team, and get ready to have fun!
Whether you’re tuning in for the chaos, or just showing up to cheer on your favorite Sherpa, Emissary, or other Sherpa Hub staff members the streams will have it all — great((bad)) comms, questionable strategies, and plenty of those “did that really just happen?” moments.

Sherpas are the mentors of Tarkov. They spend their time running with newer players, explaining mechanics, sharing strategies, and showing them how to survive Tarkov. Sherpas teach meds, ballistics, maps, and survival skills — making one of the toughest games out there a little more approachable, and a lot more fun.
Emissaries are community representatives chosen by Battlestate Games. They help connect the developers with the player base, share official updates, and support the community across different regions and languages. Think of them as the bridge between players and BSG — knowledgeable, trusted, and always there to keep people informed.

Meet the players

Helpfuls are part of the lifeblood of the Sherpa Hub. They’re always willing and around to answer questions, offer quick tips, and lend a hand wherever it’s needed. Often Sherpas-in-training, they build experience by supporting the community day after day. They’re integral to the Sherpa Hub’s success.
Moderators are the silent-guardians of the Sherpa Hub. They keep Discord and community spaces organized, safe, and respectful—enforcing rules, resolving conflicts, and filtering toxicity—so Sherpas, Helpfuls, and Emissaries can focus on teaching and connecting.
